Screen Studio
Record a short Mac product demo and tidy it in Screen Studio
A Mac-only screen recorder that adds zooms, cursor smoothing, captions and framing after you record. Useful for short product demos, tutorials and launch clips.
Written from the tool's official pages, listed under Official sources at the end of this guide. Check them for current features, limits and terms.
Try it (opens in a new tab)Steps to try
- Check the site's Mac requirement (it recommends a recent macOS) and download from the official page only.
- Write three or four talking points and open a clean demo account or test data. Close notifications and private tabs before recording.
- Choose what to capture (display, window or area), decide whether to include camera, microphone and system sound, then record one short take.
- In the editor, review the automatic zooms, trim mistakes, and consider the transcript editing and filler word tools the site describes.
- Pick an aspect ratio for where it will be posted, then apply a background and layout. Save a preset if you will repeat the look.
- Use the masking feature to cover keys or emails, then play the full export before sharing. Choose a file export or a shareable link.
Limitations
Mac only. The site lists many editing features, but suitability for your setup is unchecked, so test with a short clip. Masks and automatic zooms need a visual check. Link and project sharing limits are stated on the site and may change.
Pricing
The site shows a Download for Mac button and pricing and account pages. Current pricing was not verified or whether it is a subscription or one-time licence, so check the official pricing page.
Privacy and data
Screen recordings capture whatever is on screen. The site says recordings and projects are saved on your Mac and that it asks before uploading, for example for shareable links, shared projects, cloud transcription or AI voiceover. Hide sensitive data before you record and review before sharing.
About the sources
Based on the vendor's homepage, not hands-on testing. Feature descriptions are the vendor's own and pricing was not verified.
Alternatives
macOS has a built-in screen recording tool, and QuickTime is another free option that needs more manual editing. Other demo-focused recorders exist; compare them on the same 30-second clip.
